Hollands Farm<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hollands Farm has always been at the heart of what could be called the old village.\u00a0 Its expansive fields, trees, hedges and wooded areas, providing ideal habitat for wild life, including bats seen regularly in the summer evenings,\u00a0 even an Adder some years back.<\/p>\n

A<\/b>rchaeological finds<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

The local area is known for its archaeological finds<\/b><\/span> dating back to the before the bronze age.\u00a0 These finds include a 25′ wooden bronze age boat, down by the Thames.\u00a0 The location one ancient encampment is described\u00a0 on the\u00a0 Bourne End Bucks<\/a> website\u00a0 as:<\/p>\n

Such an encampment was at Hedsor Wharf and in Mr. Lunnon’s field opposite his house “Southfields”<\/em><\/p>\n

Southfields – is the name of the Farm House situated on Hollands Farm.<\/p>\n
