Hollands Farm – Actions and Support
Don’t Destroy Bourne End (DDBE), have an active campaign under-way to save not just “Hollands Farm”, but other Green Field and Green Belt land in the area from these outrageous and damaging development proposals.
DDBE, are crying out for additional support, from both the local, or even wider community. Your support would be much appreciated by them, at those actively supporting the campaign are struggling with the time frames, and breadth of the issue as a whole.

DDBE has now set up sub-groups to spread the work and make topics able to be more focussed. They especially need more help in certain areas which may form our arguments to result in winning this battle. A recent communication from DDBE stated:
“You don’t have to be an expert to help with this, just willing to look into things and gather information, perhaps email a couple of contacts who may be able to assist. We can help guide you in the right direction. If of course there is a subject you have more knowledge on or favour though then of course please choose that one. Please help if you can, we are very short of time (till the first deadline date of 8th August) and won’t get all the facts we would like by then if more people don’t get involved. The 8th August is of course far from all this being over, it is just the start, but we need a good footing to get us going to then be able to follow up our arguments as time moves on.”
